Degree Requirements

To receive a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Bethlehem University a student must complete:

  • Minimum total credit hours for degree as listed in the following table (not including Intensive English)
  • The University requirements as listed  below
  • The Major requirements as listed below with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.00.
  • An approved Minor program
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 computed on all grades earned at Bethlehem University. Transfer credits are not included.

Students majoring in Accounting are provided the opportunity to earn a minor in a discipline other than their major field.A student may take a minor program consisting of 24 credit hours offered by the Business Department (other than Marketing) as well as a minor in Finance offered by the accounting department.A student may also take a minor in computer sciences, translation or social sciences.

The university requirements for all business students total 34 credit hours instead of 40.  The Mathematics requirement (MATH 111) is met by BUSM 101 and the Economics requirement (ECON 300) is met by ECON 101 OR 102.
