Criteria of Acceptance to Major

Students are expected to be accepted to a Major when they have earned 40 credits, usually after their third semester.  The following criteria are used by the Department Committee to identify students who qualify for Acceptance to Major:

1. Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 1.90
2. Minimum major cumulative GPA of 2.00
3. Completion of ENGL 120 and ENGL 121
4. Completion of at least 3 courses (9 credits) in the Major

Degree Requirements

To receive a Baccalaureate degree from Bethlehem University a student must complete:

• The University requirements as listed  below
• The Major requirements as listed below with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.00.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 computed on all grades earned at Bethlehem University. Transfer credits are not included.
• Minimum total credit hours for degree (not including Intensive English)

Pre-School   

Intensive English students take an additional four credits of intensive English
