Upon completing the course, students will be able to demonstrate:

A systematic, in-depth understanding of the development, issues and influences relevant to tourism management

· An understanding of the research process

· Evaluate different international experiences of the role of tourism in development, and the critical issues determining the success of the tourism-led economic policies.

· Review and critically analyze current issues and trends in tourism.

· Examine and assess the role of tourism in an international context, and generate sustainable solutions to a range of complex tourism related issues
