 1-Minor in Accounting

In addition to the major in accounting, the accounting department provides the opportunity for all students (some restriction might be imposed due to the limited available resources in some years) to join the program towards a minor in accounting. To earn this minor, students are required to successfully complete a total of 24 credit hours.

List of Minor required courses for students with a major in Business (15 credits)

 In addition to 9 credit hours to be selected from other major elective courses in accounting.

List of Minor required courses to all other students (18 credits)

 In addition to 6 credit hours to be selected from other major elective courses in accounting.

 

2-Minor in Finance

To earn a minor in Finance, students are required to successfully complete a total of 24 credit hours.

In addition to the above required courses, a student pursuing a minor in Finance must also select one of the following courses:

The above mentioned minor was intended for the accounting major students only. And since the BUSA312 will be considered as a minor course instead of a major one, then students with a major in accounting and minor in finance must replace the BUSA312 course, with major elective course.
