Knowledge 

  1. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality and tourism industry, including its key sectors, trends, and global dynamics through analyzing the impact of economic, social, cultural, and environmental factors on the industry.

  2. Understand the impact of cultural differences on guest expectations and interactions.

  3. Apply international customer service principles to meet the diverse needs of guests and clients.

  4. Develop and implement marketing and selling strategies to promote and sell hospitality and tourism services.

Skills

  1. Demonstrate proficiency in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of hospitality and tourism establishments.

  2. Interpret financial statements, budgets, and financial reports related to the hospitality and tourism business and apply principles of inventory control, cost management, and resource optimization 

  3. Utilize technology and information systems relevant to the industry for reservations, guest services, and business management, and adapt to emerging technologies shaping the hospitality and tourism landscape.

  4. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment and demonstrate leadership skills in guiding teams within the hospitality and tourism sector.

Attitude

  1. Integrate sustainable practices into hospitality and tourism operations, and advocate for environmentally responsible approaches to minimize the industry's ecological footprint.
